Nicholas Eveleigh Photography About Me

I’m a photographer based in the New York City Metro area with a background in
editorial and advertising photography. My current portfolio features high-end
museum and gallery artworks, auction house property and luxury goods.
I have a passion for making inanimate objects come alive and for creating beautiful
and thoughtful imagery.
I have over twenty-five years of studio photography and multi-media experience. I
began my training as creative thinker in the rigorous University of Delaware
Visual Communications program. After graduation, I trained with some of the
best photographers in New York City including Craig Cutler, Lynn Goldsmith and Michel
Tcherevkoff before starting my own successful studio. My clients include
dozens of magazines including: The New York Times, Bloomberg, Time, Newsweek,
Men’s Health, Barrons, Money, Kipplingers, Forbes, Cigar Aficionado and others. Advertising
clients include many of the top agencies such as: McCann Worldgroup, TBWA/Chiat/Day,
Gray Global, Digitas, Ogilvy, Saatchi & Saatchi and Kirshenbaum Bond and
Partners.
In 2012, I joined Christies New York Auction House as a contributing photographer
and videographer specializing in jewelry, watches, sculptures and luxury goods.
Here, I contributed to over 100 catalogs and numerous Online Only sales,
introduced motion and multi-media to the online auctions, trained young
photographers in proper techniques and art handling procedures, oversaw visual
coverage for private sales and developed worldwide brand guidelines for in
house still photography.
I have an extensive stock image collection currently represented by Getty
Images, Alamy Images, SuperStock and iStockphoto.
